Tips for selling your house

It’s all in the presentation / first impressions

  • Plant some flowers or maybe some shrubs (make your entrance welcoming).
  • Trim the lawn and keep it neatly cut.
  • Plant colorful flower beds (bright colors).
  • If your lawn is big with trees place some nice lawn furniture under a tree for relaxing and reading.
  • Make sure the lawn mowers and clutter are put away when they are not in use.

Once the presentation of the outside of the house is finished it’s time to focus on the inside

  • Make sure things are picked up and nothing is blocking the hallways or stairs.
  • Clean out the closets. (People do not want to see clutter).
  • Clean and organize all closets, drawers, and cabinets (People are looking to by your home that means they want to how what they are buying which means they will be looking through everything).
  • If the fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen are old replace them.
  • Are there marks on the walls? Apply a fresh coat of paint.
  • If your house is dark open the blinds (Stuffy, dark houses do not sale).
  • If you need to do some renovations on your home be sure they are completed before you try to sale your house.
